REFUND POLICY

At ETAVOD Video Scriptwriting Services Limited, we are committed to providing high-quality video scriptwriting services to our valued Clients. We understand that creative preferences may sometimes differ, and we want to ensure a fair and transparent refund policy for our Clients.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. Deliverables: The final products or services to be provided by ETAVOD as specified in the project agreement.
1.2. Services: The video scriptwriting and associated services offered by ETAVOD.
1.3. Business Day: Any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in Nigeria.
1.4. Parties: ETAVOD and the client entering into an agreement for services.
1.5. Client: A person, company or entity that engages the services of ETAVOD.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND
2.1. Refunds are applicable only to services explicitly mentioned in our offerings.
2.2. Requests for refunds must be submitted within the specified time frame and adhere to the conditions outlined in this policy.
2.3. To be eligible for a refund, you must provide clear and specific reasons for the request.
2.4. Clients shall not be eligible for refund if the non-performance of the deliverables by ETAVOD is to the extent that their performance is prevented, delayed, or obstructed by causes beyond its control.
3. NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES
3.1. Deliverables already delivered and accepted.
3.2. Refund requests submitted after the designated timeframe will not be considered.
3.3. Any additional services such as revisions beyond the scope of the original agreement.
3.4. Rush services or expedited delivery charges. Rush services or expedited delivery charges refer to the additional fees charged when a client requests a faster than standard delivery time for their order.
4. MISSED DEADLINES
4.1. If ETAVOD fails to deliver the deliverables by the agreed-upon deadline without prior notice and agreement on an extension, the client may request a partial refund or a discount on the final payment.
4.2. Refunds for missed deadlines will be proportional to the delay and impact on the client’s project timeline.
5. PROJECT MILESTONES
5.1. For projects divided into milestones, refunds for incomplete milestones will be provided, minus the costs of any completed work and administrative fees.
5.2. Refunds are not applicable for completed milestones once approved by the client.
6. ORDER CANCELLATION
6.1. Cancellation by Client
a. If you cancel your order before we initiate any work, we will provide you with a full refund.
b. If the client decides to cancel the project midway, they must notify us immediately.
c. We will consider partial refunds based on the progress made once we have commenced the work.
d. Refunds will be issued for the uncompleted portion of the work, deducting any costs incurred and work completed up to the point of cancellation.
6.2. Cancellation by ETAVOD
a. If we are unable to complete the project due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund for the uncompleted work.
b. We will also provide all work completed up to the cancellation point.
7. PROCESS FOR REFUND REQUESTS
7.1. Submission of Refund Requests
a. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to contact@etavod.com.
b. The request should include the client’s name, project details, reason for the refund, and any relevant documentation.
7.2. Evaluation of Refund Requests
a. Refund requests will be evaluated based on the scope of work completed, adherence to project deadlines, and the reasons provided.
b. We will review your request and may request additional information or clarifications to facilitate the evaluation process.
c. We will not accept refund requests if you have used, modified, or shared the work in any way without our consent.
d. We reserve the right to refuse to a refund where there is insufficient reasoning or invalid reasons.
7.3. Response Time
a. All refund requests shall be responded to within 7 business days from the date of the receipt.
b. A final decision on the refund request will be communicated within 14 business days of receiving the initial request.
7.4. Partial Refund for Dissatisfaction
a. If ETAVOD fails to deliver satisfactory work, you may be eligible for a partial refund.
b. The Client shall, within 7 business days or as may be agreed between ETAVOD and the Client of receiving the Deliverable, review it and notify us if they are not satisfied, in accordance with clause 7(7.1).
c. Upon receipt of the Client’s notice, we will review the Client’s position and we will respond to the Client with a plan to remedy the Deliverable.
d. ETAVOD will offer up to two revisions to address the issues raised.
e. If the client remains unsatisfied after the revisions, a partial refund may be considered, factoring in the work completed and the revisions provided.
f. We will assess the request on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as the extent of dissatisfaction and the specific project details.
g. The refund amount will be determined based on the work completed and the level of dissatisfaction. We reserve the right to refund up to 50% of the total payment.
8. COPYRIGHT AND OWNERSHIP:
8.1. Upon receiving a refund for your order, you forfeit any rights to the ideas, scriptwriting, or creative content provided by ETAVOD.
8.2. ETAVOD retains full ownership and copyrights of the work delivered whether registered or not, and you may not use, publish, or distribute the content in any form without our explicit written consent.
9. PAYMENT OF REFUND
9.1. Method of Refund
a. Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed upon.
b. For bank transfers, clients must provide accurate bank details for the refund.
9.2. Timeframe for Refunds
a. Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days from the date of the approval notification.
b. The time taken for the refund to reflect in the client’s account may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
10. AMENDMENTS TO THE REFUND POLICY
10.1. Policy Updates
a. ETAVOD reserves the right to amend this refund policy at any time.
b. Clients will be notified of any significant changes to the policy via email or through a notice on our website.
10.2. Effective Date of Amendments
Amendments will become effective immediately unless otherwise specified.
